Where To Find Clipboard On Iphone?

Having a tool like the clipboard that can easily be accessed anywhere is very helpful in our digital lives. Yours truly has fun creating memes, copying pictures or videos and then pasting them into another app or site for re-posting or editing.

The same goes for making notes! You can make quick notes by taking a few short notes with you and quickly accessing your notes at any time.

This article will go more in depth about how to use the iOS 10’s new copy/paste feature and where to find it.

Open the app drawer

In the apps section of your iPhone, you’ll find an option to manage apps and content. If you head into this menu in the Settings app, you’ll see something new here – the clipboard.

The iOS 11 version of Apple’s mobile operating system includes a dedicated button for copying text from one place to another. This can be done to another device, website or even another app!

It is very easy to use and understand. Just tap on the button to access it, then choose where to paste the copied material. You can also change how long pasted information will remain saved if you need to remove it later.

There are several ways to get rid of that copy you just made. The easiest way is to go back to the source and press delete there. Or you can cut or drag the copied piece away before doing either of those things again.

Look in the folder for Clipboard

The Clipboard is an area where you can store files such as pictures, videos, or documents. To access it, you just have to drag something onto the clipboard and then go somewhere else to view that file.

The easiest way to find the clipboard is by looking in the Folder section of your iPhone. You will see there a separate folder called “Clipboard”. If it does not exist already, create this new folder now!

After creating this new folder, you do not need to worry about running out of space due to having too many items in the clipboard.

Look in the app itself

For most people, the clipboard is accessed through the share sheet or via copy/paste functions within an app. However, there are some apps that contain their own dedicated clipboards. These can be easier to access than the standard one we have already mentioned because you do not need to go into another section of the app for it.

Some apps will create its own folder which contains all of your copied materials so you do not need to manually search through your phone for them either.

These special clipboards are very helpful if you find yourself needing to paste something more than once or want to save space by only having one copy of a material. Some examples of this include pasting pictures or documents that you have previously saved, or creating quick notes using just text.

Look in the recent apps list

The very first place to look for your lost clipboard is in the Recent Apps section of the iPhone’s settings.

Here, you will find an option to view all of your open applications along with their closed notes or copies.

If nothing seems out of the ordinary, you can try opening each app again to see if that restores it!

That way, you won’t need to worry about resetting anything as long as you remember which app you were using before it disappeared.

Look on the clipboard icon in the system bar

There are several ways to access your copy and paste tools for your IOS device. Some are more useful than others, but they all work similarly.

The first way is by going into settings after you have unlocked your phone. You can find this under ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the screen.

Here you can edit what apps have access to your personal information as well as manage which ones may be able to access it.

This method doesn’t give much flexibility when it comes to adding new apps, however! If an app needs access to something you don’t then there isn’t anything you can do about it except uninstall or disable that app.

Another option is using keyboard shortcuts. Pressing the shift key while tapping the clipboard will create a copy object and pasting will create a new item.

Look in the dock

One of your favorite apps is almost always equipped with an easy way to access its most recent documents or files. These are typically referred to as “layers” or “tabs.” An example of this would be using Microsoft Word as your writing app. You can easily access all of your saved documents by tapping the word “Document” at the top left corner of the screen.

This same concept applies to Apple’s own native apps. For instance, you can tap the tab called “Clipboard” in Safari to access the system’s clipboard. The clipborad contains everything you copy while browsing the web- including links, addresses, pictures, and even videos!

There is one major difference between how these two apps manage their respective clipboards, though. In iOS, when an app does not keep track of what it adds to the clipboard itself, the System will take over. This happens automatically if you use the browser to paste something that was copied outside of the app (like a link) or if you drag content from somewhere else onto your clipboard.

If for some reason this doesn’t work for you, don’t worry! There are ways to get rid of the white box around items you add to the clipboard. All you have to do is go into Settings > General > Clear Storage and then click both checkboxes.

Look in the settings app

In the Settings app, under General, there is an option called “Customize iPhone”. This will take you to a screen that allows you to choose which apps can access your phone’s clipboard.

You will have to turn this feature off for any app that you do not want to be able to use the clipboard, but once it is turned off nothing will work properly!

That is why it is important to only allow safe apps onto your device. You should always read reviews before allowing new apps into your system.

If someone claims to have found a way to access the clipboard then they have either made up their claim or done so by accident. Neither of these are good things to find when looking for free clipboards.

Look in the developer settings

If you have run into an issue where your phone does not have a memory card or internal storage is very limited, it may be time to consider getting a new device. Or at least investing in some extra storage via something like Google Cloud Storage or Dropbox.

If you are looking to keep all of your files safe then iCloud would be the best option as it can easily be accessed through the web or apps. For example, most people use the iOS clipboard app called Cut to copy things such as links, notes, and even whole paragraphs.

There are several ways to access this feature but one of the easiest way is by going into Settings > General > iPhone Storage and Devices and look under “My Clippings” there should be an icon that looks like two stacked lines with arrows.
