How To Turn Battery Percentage On Iphone Xr?

The iPhone Xr is a great phone, but one thing that many people have complained about is the lack of features that are standard on most other phones.

One of these features is the ability to see your battery percentage. By default, your iPhone Xr will show the battery level as a 1% increment from 100% to 0% until it dies, at which point it will show it as 0%.

While this does provide some warning that your phone is about to die, it would be nice to know what percentage of battery you have left. Fortunately, there is a way to turn this feature on!

This feature can be turned on and off at any time, so if you want to try it out for yourself, go for it! Hopefully this article helps you do that. If you need any more clarification on how to do this, read further.

Select Battery

To turn battery percentage on, you have to first go to your settings. Press and hold the battery icon in the top right corner to access settings.

Here, you can select which features you want to show on the battery icon. You can choose between WiFi, Cell Signal, Vibrate, and Silent. You can also turn On/Off & Time Off on or off in this menu.

By turning on the other features, the battery icon will change color depending on what feature it is set to- green for WiFi, red for cell signal, orange for vibrate, and gray for silent. This is a nice way to remind you of what settings you have turned on or off.

To turn battery percentage on, simply check the box next to “Show Battery Percentage” and then press Done.

Under Show Battery Percentage, select Show Percentage

This setting allows you to see the battery percentage remaining on your phone. By default, this feature is disabled on the Iphone Xr, but you can turn it on!

By turning this feature on, you will always know how much battery you have left until you need to charge again. This can be helpful in situations where you need your phone for longer periods of time.

For example, if you are traveling for several hours and relying on your phone for directions, or if you are at work and need to keep in contact via text or calls.

It is also helpful for when you are spending a lot of money on the wireless service and need to keep the phone connected for a long time.

Once this feature is turned on, there is no way to completely disable it except to plug your phone in to charge it.

Select Never for Always Show Percentage

If you do not want the battery percentage to be shown on your phone at all, you can select Never for the Always Show Percentage option. This will make it so that no battery percentage is shown, and your phone will go to sleep and shut down when it thinks there is no charge left.

This can be helpful if you tend to keep your phone at 100% charge, as it will then never show the 0% decrease in charge. This is also helpful if you like to keep your phone on a low battery for longer use time!

By having this option, you are taking away the ability to ever see how much charge your phone has left.

Select Always for When Charging Only

If you want your phone to always charge to 100%, and then stop charging when it reaches that percentage, you need to select the Always for When Charging Only option.

This feature is great if you are trying to conserve battery life. Once your phone reaches 100%, it will no longer charge until it drops below that point.

If you are in a situation where you need your phone at full battery, this is a great feature to have on. It will keep your phone at full battery until it drops off, which could save some power.

Some people may not like this feature though. If you are at low battery and need to charge your phone, it will not start charging until it reaches 100%. This could take longer than needed to charge your phone if it is at a lower percentage.

Select When Connected to Wireless Charger Only

If you are always charging your phone via wireless charger, then this setting is for you. This setting will keep your phone at a full charge while on the charger, and only discharge to 100% when off the charger.

This way, you will have to tap off the wireless charger to get to 100%, which helps save battery during the day. You will have to top up more during the night when you are sleeping through the wireless charger.

This setting is perfect if you have a habit of leaving your phone on the wireless charger all night. The phone will continue to charge until it reaches 100% then stops taking any more energy. It will then start slowly draining until it reaches 90%, then starts charging again until it reaches 100%. This cycle repeats until you take the phone off the charger.

If you do not do this, then your phone will continue to drain down to 0% before starting to charge again.

Enter Airplane Mode and check the battery percentage

If you already have your phone in airplane mode, then you can just check the battery percentage to see if it is working. If the phone says it is at a low battery level and then stays at that level for a while, then the phone is probably off.

Airplane mode disables all communication features on your phone, including the ability to check the battery level. If you place your phone in airplane mode and then check the battery level, you will not see any indication of how much power is left.

This is designed to prevent your phone from turning on while in flight mode. If there was some kind of emergency and people could check their phones, it would not work unless you took it out of airplane mode.

General tips: Try this trick before going to sleep for the night or before leaving the house for the day. This will ensure that your phone does not drain all of its power while sitting on your desk or in your pocket.

Try resetting your device and checking the battery percentage

If the issue is not with the device or the battery, then resetting the device may fix the issue. This can be done by going to Settings and then selecting Reset Device.

Here, you can choose to reset all settings or just delete your profile. If you just want to try out the battery percentage feature, then just select all apps and hit reset!

This will take a couple of minutes and you will have to set up your device again, but it is a quick way to try out if the problem is with the battery or not.

If you find that the issue is with your device’s battery, then we recommend getting a new one. Buying a new battery is much cheaper than buying a whole new phone, so this is probably a good solution.

Update your software and check the battery percentage

Before you try to turn on the battery percentage on your Iphone Xr, make sure you are running the latest software. If you do not know how to update your software, you can visit the Apple website for instructions.

Once your software is updated, check your battery to make sure it is working properly. If the phone does not turn on, then there is no way to know the battery percentage!

If the phone turns on and operates normally, then there may be a setting that needs to be changed. The first thing to check is if Battery Percentage is enabled.

Go to Settings > Battery and tap the toggle next to Show Battery Percentage to turn this feature on.
